The family of a baby who passed away shortly after being born prematurely in 2020 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is continuing their fight for answers as they say they never received their baby’s remains. The family filed a lawsuit in 2022 with the hope of learning where their daughter Everleigh ended up and how this could have happened. Their lawyer spoke to 7NEWS this week, saying the family is still working to get the answers they seek.“Unfortunately, at this point, the hospital has not been providing the type of discovery that we’ve been asking for and they’ve been hiding behind something called ‘the peer review privilege,’” said attorney Greg Henning. Henning said Everleigh’s body was thrown out after her family baptized her and went home to grieve. Years later, a memory box is all the family has to hold on to reminding them of their baby girl. As their lawsuit moves forward, Henning said the family has received some information and video evidence from the hosp...

MEXICO CITY (AP) — A Belgian tourist was killed in an attack Thursday by either a shark or a crocodile at Mexico’s Pacific coast resort of Zihuatanejo, officials said. The civil defense office in the southern state of Guerrero said a man and a woman were bitten in the legs by an unidentified animal. The man was reported dead at the scene, while the woman was taken to a hospital. State officials said the man was from Belgium and the woman’s nationality was not immediately clear. How to spot artificial intelligence-generated content

Published Thu, 20 Feb 2025 20:34:57 GMT

(WHTM) — In a world where technology is growing, people may come across fake images or even videos of celebrities, politicians, coaches, and more. These videos are mostly for comedic content, but can also be used as a way to scam people or to make people believe this "real" person said something they never said. This recently occurred in November 2023 when a sponsored video of "Gordon Ramsay" appeared on TikTok. Southwest’s plus-sized passenger policy debated on social media This video claimed to show Ramsay telling people they could get 100% off cookware. The catch: this was not Gordon Ramsay. It was an artificial intelligence (AI) version of Ramsay being used to steal people's identities. With the 2024 Presidential election fast approaching, people should be on the lookout for AI versions of any politician. This can include videos, images, or even just the voice of any politician. This defunct Pennsylvania roller coaster was briefly the largest of its kind According to the Better...

The Wild are no longer playing with the reckless abandon that led them to four consecutive victories in the aftermath of their coach being fired Nov. 27.The Wild had lost seven straight games, leading to the dismissal of Dean Evason, and John Hynes took over the next day. The Wild beat the St. Louis Blues on Nov. 28, then demolished three straight opponents, and went into Thursday night’s game against the Calgary Flames on a 5-2-0 run under Hynes. They haven’t looked like that hungry, guilty team making amends since a 5-2 victory over Calgary on Dec. 5, but they’re still finding ways to win.Matt Boldy scored in regulation and the shootout, and Filip Gustavsson stopped 37 shots as the Wild beat the Flames again, this time 3-2 in a shootout at Xcel Energy Center.Marco Rossi tied the game, 2-2, in the third period, his 10th of the season, and Mats Zuccarello scored in the shootout as the Wild won for the second straight time and impro...
