Murder charge: Man shot his wife in St. Paul while 3 kids were in residence; he later died by suicide After 38-year-old Donshay Hardy was shot in St. Paul, leading three children to flee from the residence, prosecutors charged her husband with murder.A warrant was out for Eddie Lee Webb’s arrest, but he died by suicide on Sunday and prosecutors dismissed the court case Tuesday. The criminal complaint against him was also unsealed.The complaint tells not only of the killing of Hardy, but about three children who were in the Battle Creek-area home with Hardy. One tried to intervene after seeing the 43-year-old with a gun, but Webb locked the child out of the room and then gunshots rang out. The Red Cross has launched two new bloodmobile trucks.Each vehicle is anticipated to collect more than 3,000 units of blood a year. The Red Cross said the trucks will give them the freedom to bring collections into communities that might not have been able to access them before. Get the latest, news, weather, sports and community events delivered right to your inbox! "This blood mobile is essential to helping the community," American Red Cross Regional CEO Kevin Coffey said. "We are able to go to rural communities, we are able to be at community events, we are able to be at small businesses that might not have had the space to host a blood drive, but this product will be able to meet that need."The bloodmobile will be seen throughout Albany in the coming weeks. It will be hosting more than 25 drives on the go until the end of July.

South San Francisco: Arrest made in fatal hit-and-run SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO – A BART employee has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run collision earlier this month in South San Francisco, police said.In the early morning hours of April 5, a pedestrian was struck by a driver while trying to cross southbound lanes in the 1500 block of El Camino Real, according to the South San Francisco Police Department. The pedestrian died of his injuries at the scene.The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office identified the pedestrian as 45-year-old South San Francisco resident William King.Following an investigation, detectives identified the driver as 52-year-old Newman resident Joaquin Duarte.
